Exact vehicle fitment
Built for the Australian VA dashboard
Replace the ageing factory radio with a clean 9-inch Novo Nav system matched to your WRX’s centre vents, original radio and camera setup. Harman Kardon audio, the factory reverse camera, steering-wheel controls, upper display and physical climate controls remain supported.
Matched to the dashboard in front of you
This product suits the VA-generation dashboard pictured on the page. Registration year alone is not the final fitment check, so upload one straight-on dashboard photo and one clear photo of the current radio.

Two visible fascia families
VA dashboards use two centre-vent treatments. One has black trim around both vents; the other has bright silver borders. The difference is easy to recognise from the driver’s seat and changes the fascia packed with the screen.
You do not need a part number, trim code or connector photo. Select the image that looks like your dashboard, then upload the requested dashboard photos so the front and rear mounting arrangement can be checked before dispatch.

Modern connection for the VA cabin
Connect a compatible iPhone or Android phone wirelessly and use the driving interface you already know. Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, podcasts, calls, messages and supported apps appear on the larger display, with Siri or Google Assistant available for hands-free help.
The system is also a standalone Android head unit. The Novo Nav launcher gives you direct access to radio, Bluetooth, navigation, settings and supported apps when you are not using CarPlay or Android Auto.

Amplified or standard audio
Harman Kardon amplified systems are supported, as are standard factory audio systems. You do not need to search for an amplifier, recognise a speaker badge or choose a sound-system option.
Subaru used several factory-radio faces and connector arrangements during this generation. That is why we ask for dashboard and radio photos: the order can be prepared around the system already fitted rather than relying on the model year or asking you to identify electrical connectors.

Keep the rear view you already use
If your WRX already has a factory reverse camera, select that option and the existing camera remains part of the upgrade. If it has no factory camera, the system works normally without one and a compatible reverse camera can be added.
The question is deliberately simple because it changes what is prepared for the vehicle. You do not need to identify camera voltage, plugs or a factory module.

Upgrade the radio—not the whole driving environment
The factory steering-wheel controls remain compatible for familiar volume, track and hands-free functions. The upper multi-function display stays in its original position, and fan speed, temperature and airflow remain on the original physical climate controls.
There is no steering-control question because the system works whether your WRX has those buttons or not. Nothing about the screen upgrade requires replacing the working climate panel.

Prepared from the car in front of you
Factory button radios, navigation units and later glossy touchscreens can look different and use different connections behind the dash. A year-by-year selector would create false confidence, so it is intentionally not used.
Upload one straight-on dashboard photo and one clear photo of the factory radio face. Those photos verify the vent surround, radio family and surrounding controls without making you dismantle anything or interpret a connector diagram.

More than phone mirroring
CarPlay and Android Auto are ideal for everyday navigation, while the Android system can also run supported navigation apps directly. Download the maps required by your chosen app before leaving coverage and use the head unit’s own GPS receiver on the road.
That makes the screen useful on a weekend drive as well as the daily commute, without claiming that every app or map package is included.

Vehicle-shaped installation
The supplied fascia is selected around the centre-vent treatment and sits between the upper display and climate panel. Its side shoulders slope inward toward the rectangular Novo Nav screen, which sits slightly forward with its narrow border and left-side touch controls visible.
Normal factory controls remain in their original locations. The result should look like a complete dashboard conversion, not a generic tablet sitting in front of the vents.

WRX fitment questions
Yes, where the vehicle has the pictured VA-generation dashboard. The uploaded dashboard and radio photos provide the final fitment check.
No. Harman Kardon amplified and standard audio systems are supported, so there is no sound-system question at checkout.
The visible vent surround identifies which fascia family is required. Select the image that matches your dashboard.
Yes. Choose `Factory reverse camera` and the matching retention connection will be prepared.
Choose `No reverse camera`. The system works without one, and a compatible camera can be added.
Yes. The steering controls remain compatible and the upper display stays physically in place.
No. The original physical climate controls remain in place and continue to be used normally.
Subaru fitted multiple factory radios and wiring arrangements during this generation. The photos let the correct fascia and integration be matched without asking you to identify connectors.
The vehicle connections are prepared for the photographed setup without cutting the factory loom. Installation still requires removal of interior trim and the original radio, fitting the supplied components, and testing retained functions before reassembly. Use a professional installer if you are not comfortable working on vehicle electronics.

— Nathan B.

— Renee G.

— Paul D.
“The screen fit is excellent and there are no awkward gaps around the fascia. It feels like a properly matched kit rather than a universal radio.”
— Jason N.
