These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you visit novonav.com.au, use our online store or services, or purchase from Novo Nav. The website and store are operated by Universal Service Solutions Pty Ltd trading as Novo Nav (ABN 53 665 943 162).
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.
Australian customers only
Novo Nav serves Australia only. We do not accept orders for delivery outside Australia.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Further information about returns, faults, remedies and our express warranty is contained in our Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy.
Our online store
Our ecommerce store is hosted by Shopify, and parts of the storefront are built and published using GemPages. Those platforms help us display products, operate the website, process checkout and provide related store functions. Your use of the website is also subject to applicable platform functionality and availability.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract or use the store with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order or contacting us.
You must not:
- use the website or its content for an unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
- interfere with the website, checkout, security, accounts or other users;
- introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the website at an unreasonable rate, or circumvent technical protections;
- submit false, misleading or infringing content;
- impersonate another person or use payment or contact information without authority; or
- copy or commercially exploit our website content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, customers, Novo Nav or another person, or where these Terms have been materially breached.
Products and vehicle compatibility
Novo Nav sells vehicle-specific car-radio upgrade kits and related accessories. Compatibility can depend on the exact vehicle year, make, model, series, trim, factory radio or screen, amplifier, camera, connectors and other factory or aftermarket equipment.
You must provide accurate vehicle and configuration information and review the product description before ordering. Where we request dashboard, radio, connector or vehicle photographs to confirm compatibility, the photographs must be from the vehicle for which you are ordering.
We take reasonable care with product descriptions and compatibility information. Images may be illustrative, and minor appearance or interface differences may occur without changing the product’s essential function. Nothing in this section limits your rights if a product does not match its description or fails a consumer guarantee.
Installation
Novo Nav does not provide installation services. Installation is the customer’s responsibility. We can provide verified customers with product guidance and, on request, information about recommended independent installers.
Installation must be carried out safely and in accordance with supplied instructions. Stop work and seek qualified assistance if the installation involves safety systems, uncertain wiring, damaged connectors, electrical faults or work outside your competence. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, or external vehicle power or wiring faults is not a manufacturing fault. This does not limit rights arising from a fault in goods supplied by Novo Nav.
Prices and promotions
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars. Any shipping charge, discount and order total will be shown at checkout before payment. Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated eligibility, period and conditions, may not be combined unless stated, and cannot be applied retrospectively unless we agree or the law requires otherwise.
We may change future prices and promotions at any time. A later price change does not alter an already completed purchase.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the selected products under these Terms. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not prevent us from reviewing the order for payment, availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or vehicle/configuration issues.
We may refuse or cancel an order before supply where reasonably necessary because:
- payment is not authorised or appears fraudulent;
- the product is unavailable;
- there is a material pricing, description or system error;
- we cannot deliver to the supplied address;
- the order breaches these Terms or another published policy; or
- we reasonably believe the selected product cannot be supplied safely or suitably for the vehicle information provided.
If we cancel an order for one of these reasons after taking payment, we will provide the refund required by law. Customer-requested changes and cancellations are governed by our Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy.
Vehicle-specific preparation
We begin preparing orders promptly. Work may include selecting vehicle-specific parts, pre-wiring, configuring, completing and testing the kit. Because this work begins shortly after ordering, customer-requested changes or cancellations generally cannot be guaranteed and may incur the fee stated in our Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy.
Payment
You authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the amount shown at checkout. You must use a payment method you are authorised to use and must pay all amounts due for the order. Payment processing is provided through Shopify and the payment options made available at checkout.
If a payment is reversed, disputed or charged back, we may provide relevant order, delivery and communication records to the payment provider and may pause fulfilment or support while the payment status is resolved, subject to applicable law.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping regions, charges, estimated dispatch and delivery times, tracking, address responsibilities, missing parcels and returned parcels are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that may apply if we fail to supply goods within a required or reasonable time.
Returns, refunds and warranty
Our 30-day fitment money-back guarantee, change-of-mind terms, return conditions, refund processing, order-cancellation rules and express warranty are set out in our Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy.
Returns require prior approval and return instructions. Do not send a return to an address found online or attend our warehouse without confirmation from our support team.
Support
Detailed installation and technical support is available only where we can verify the relevant Novo Nav order. We may ask for an order number, contact details, vehicle details, photographs, video, settings or reasonable troubleshooting information.
Support guidance is based on the information available to us and is not a substitute for qualified in-person work where electrical, installation or safety risks are present. We may stop remote troubleshooting and recommend an independent qualified installer where appropriate.
Website information and availability
We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and the store available, but the website may occasionally be interrupted, delayed or contain an error. We may correct errors and update content, features or availability. If an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact you and provide any option or remedy required by law.
Intellectual property
The website and its original text, graphics, photographs, videos, branding, layouts, guides and other content are owned by or licensed to Novo Nav and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and make reasonable personal use of the website for shopping and support. No other licence is granted.
You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit our content without written permission, except where allowed by law.
Information you provide
You retain ownership of photographs, videos, reviews, feedback and other material you provide. You give us permission to store, copy and use that material to process your order, assess compatibility, provide support, investigate a claim, prevent fraud and otherwise perform the service for which it was supplied.
You must have the right to provide the material and must not submit anything unlawful, malicious, misleading or infringing. We will handle personal information contained in that material under our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services and links
The website relies on Shopify and GemPages and uses Google and Meta integrations as described in our Privacy Policy. It may also contain links to websites operated by others. Third-party services and websites have their own terms, privacy practices and availability. We are not responsible for third-party content or conduct outside our control, but this does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy
Our collection, use and disclosure of personal information—including through Shopify, GemPages, Google Ads and Meta’s Maximum data-sharing integration—is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novo Nav is not liable for loss caused by your unlawful use of the website, inaccurate information you supply, unauthorised modification, improper installation, misuse, or a failure in third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or remedies that cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, website, policies or legal obligations. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from publication unless lawfully stated otherwise and do not remove rights that have already accrued.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. You and Novo Nav submit to the courts with jurisdiction over a dispute. Nothing in this section prevents you from relying on a right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
Severability and waiver
If part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be read down to the extent possible or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
